It was created with the artist’s wish that many hopes and dreams may come true for its owner. The red cord is tied in a traditional Kanō-musubi (“wish-fulfilling knot”), a symbol of success, achievement, and good fortune. The wolf motif is considered a sacred and auspicious animal in Japan. Traditionally, wolves were believed to protect homes and farmland while guiding people safely along their path, and they have long been objects of reverence and faith.
